Welcome to Knotty Inks!

We are so happy you are visiting our website for a bit of artistic fun with us – Bella (daughter) and Sam (mum). We love to create art with alcohol inks and tie many knots with macrame keyrings – hence Knotty Inks.
Whether you would like some art for your desk, your wall or buy a gift for someone special, we’ve got something for you. And all our artwork comes to your door already framed, so it makes for a great gift. Have a look through our creations and if you would like a specific colour or size created, contact us and let’s make something custom.

All our work is original and no two pieces are the same. Inks don't really allow for it! They challenge us each time with different shapes, shades and have a mind of their own when it comes to direction - but that's half the fun, we just go with it.

THE DESIGNERS
I don't know if we are 'designers' or even 'artists' but we started using alcohol inks as a medium during Covid in 2021. Since then we have sold artwork at market stalls and created custom pieces for customers.
We get great joy in working with people in creating that something special.
​
As a mother and daughter team, we are super close and and love creating together. Whilst Bella is only 12, she has a great eye for colour and a creative flair.
Together through our colourful art, we believe in making affordable original art that brings colour into people's homes.
